The charitable arm of the TriState Region, the Community Council, began in 2021. We are here to help support nonprofits that our members are involved with.
The Community Council’s three main objectives are to:
• Provide awareness of events in the region
• Assist in gathering volunteers or supporters for events
• Distribute grants to nonprofits through the TriState Master Networks Community Council Fund
Our funds are stewarded by the Rockland Community Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Annually, the Community Council hosts multiple fundraising events in order to support the grants awarded.
With a deep-rooted belief in the power of a collective effort, we enjoy volunteering our time and skills to support this remarkable and growing innovative group. Throughout the year, Master Networks TriState Community Council members volunteer more than 1,500 hours planning our events, supporting our region’s non-profits, and distributing grants.
It fills us with great pride to witness the tangible outcomes of our collective endeavors, as the funds we raise directly contribute to the betterment of our communities. Hearing our members talk about how the grants are being used by deserving organizations further reinforces our belief in the potential for positive change. Witnessing the positive impact that our team creates together is truly rewarding.
One of the most requested items of clothing at homeless shelters are socks. Recognizing this need, the Master Networks TriState Region Community Council created a fundraising event that collected over 10,000 pairs of socks. We then partnered up with Catholic Charities to distribute those socks to homeless shelters throughout New York City.
Our flagship event, the TriState Region Golf Outing and Dinner, brings members and non-members alike together for a day of casual golf, a delicious dinner, engaging entertainment, and, of course, networking! With over 100 golfers and 250 people in attendance, this incredible event raises thousands of dollars for local charities.
January can get real cold, so we celebrate New Year's in March! A celebratory event filled with lively networking, delicious dinner, and plenty of fun, this evening brings members from all over the northeast together while raising money and collecting socks for the homeless.
This business expo allows members to showcase their businesses while educating attendees on the value they offer. In true TriState Region fashion, this event is jam-packed with networking opportunities for all, while collecting coats for the homeless.
